Description
Myrtle Cottage is a detached cottage that was formerly a dairy house, built around 1800. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable copings. There is one brick stack on the left-hand gable, which is from the 20th century, and one stone stack on the right-hand gable. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows: two- and three-light wooden casements with glazing bars on the upper floor, and two- and three-light aluminium casements with glazing bars on the ground floor, all with wooden cills. The front door is centrally located and has four recessed panels with a rectangular glass light above, dating from the 19th century. The porch is made of vertical wooden boards and has a gabled slate roof.
