Description

The barn and granary at East Farm in Affpuddle date from the 17th century and are located 30 metres and 50 metres south-east of the house, respectively. The barn features walls made of a mixture of flint and stone, with a roof that is partly slated and partly tiled. It has large cart entrances with timber doors, and most of the windows are later additions with casements. There is a part-dormer in the roof that includes a loft door, and the roof structure appears to be from the 19th century, supported by king-post trusses. South of the barn, there is a brick granary built on staddle-stones, which likely dates from the 18th century and has a hipped tiled roof.
