Description
The granary at Home Farm, located 15 metres east of the house, dates from the 17th to 18th century. It features a two-bay timber frame that is weatherboarded and faces east towards the entrance of the yard. The building has a steep old red tile half-hipped roof, with a high plank door situated on the north gable within a plastered area. There is a central door with a dripboard leading to the yard on the north side and a smaller door that opens to the lane on the south side. Inside, there is a heavy cross beam supporting the floor, and double doors have been inserted on the north side. The granary is set on a high brick plinth that flanks the lane and is part of a group of farm buildings and the farmhouse.
