Description
Winspit Cottage is a detached cottage, which was formerly two cottages, likely built in the 18th century. It features rubble stone walls, with the front wall being plastered. The roof is made of stone slate and includes brick stacks at both ends and in the center. The cottage has two storeys and two gabled porches, one of which has been modified to include a window. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars. At the left end, there is a one-storey lean-to extension made of stone, also with a stone slate roof, which has a ledged door and one casement window with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a two-storey gabled rear extension. The cottage is picturesque and situated in an attractive setting.
