Description
The building formerly occupied by Camkin Motors is a two-storey structure dating from the early 19th century, located on the south side of Greenhill. It features a three-window front with roughcast up to dado level and stucco above. The building has sash windows and rusticated quoins. The round-headed doorway is adorned with a moulded archivolt and moulded roundels at the impost level. The east end of the house is bowed, showcasing two sash windows on the curve—one above and one below. This premises forms a group with the adjacent house occupied by Jax to the northeast, as well as other nearby premises occupied by Palmer, Snell and Co, Glenda, Marella, K Rowsell, and Jax, Coldharbour.
