Description
Beech Cottage, Rose Cottage, and White Cottage are a row of 18th century or early 19th century houses located on Acreman Street. They feature two-storey colour-washed fronts and slate roofs. Beech Cottage has three window bays with stone slate detailing, including two-light casements at either end and very small two-light leaded casements below the eaves in the doorway bay. It has a six-flush-panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Rose Cottage has two window bays with casements that have small panes, featuring two-light windows above and three-light windows below. It has a square-headed doorway with a six-flush-panelled door in a frame, also with two panels cut away and glazed. White Cottage has two window bays and a central door, with sash windows that are four panes wide. It also has a six-flush-panelled door in a frame, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. There is a lean-to annexe at the south end with a modern garage door.
