Description

Beech Cottage and Greystones are a pair of cottages built around 1880. They are constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are single storey with half-dormers. The end bays are designed as cross wings, each with gables that have decorative bargeboards topped with finials. The openings are framed with rusticated ashlar surrounds, including mullion windows with cast-iron frames. Each gable has a 3-light window with a 2-light window above it, and there is a part-glazed door with a small window above it located under the eaves. The cottages also have ashlar end stacks.
