Description
East Lodge is a lodge built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys, with a central gabled bay and a projecting two-storey tower to the right. To the left, there is a single-storey pent porch with rusticated quoins.
Inside the porch, there is a panelled door set in a round-arched architrave with a keystone. On the ground floor, the centre features a canted bay window with a parapet adorned with finials, and above it, there is a two-light casement window with strapwork cresting. A string course runs along the building, and there is a pierced decorative bargeboard at the gable. The roof has four circular chimneys located at the centre of the cross-span. The tower includes a single-light window on each storey and is topped with a pyramidal roof.
