Description

The Digby Estate, located on Acreman Street, consists of a pair of stone cottages dating from the 18th to 19th century. Each cottage is two stories high and features one window bay along with an inner doorway. The roofs are covered with plain tiles, with stone slates at the eaves. Above the ground floor doors and windows, there is a continuous wooden lintel. The cottages have two-light wooden casement windows and ledged doors set in frames. This pair, along with Nos 1 to 11 (consecutive) The Knapp, forms a group.
