Description

Kents Cottage is a pair of cottages built in the 18th century, located in a row in Lower Odcombe. They are constructed from coursed ham stone rubble and feature a thatched roof with a coped south gable set at an angle, along with a central brick chimney stack. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays. The windows are small-pane casements, with an earlier 3-light pattern on No 21 and a 4-light pattern from the 20th century on No 23. No 21 has a boarded door to the right, while No 23 has a 20th-century part-glazed door to the left, both of which are sheltered by concrete hoods supported by wrought-iron brackets. The interiors have not been seen.
