Description

A pair of cottages, likely dating to the 19th century, though possibly incorporating an earlier structure. They are constructed of banded brick and flint, with colourwashed flint and weatherboarding. The roofs are thatched, with chimney stacks at the left end and partway along the ridge. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and have an irregular arrangement of windows. The windows are casements, some with full glazing bars and some with horizontal glazing bars. Barn Cottage has a 20th-century thatched porch; the adjacent cottage has a plank door under an open porch.
