Description

An early 19th-century pair of cottages, potentially built upon an earlier structure. The cottages have rubble walls with brick dressings, topped with a half-hipped thatched roof punctuated by brick stacks along the ridge. They are one and a half storeys high, with an irregular arrangement of windows. The windows are 19th-century casements, some featuring full glazing-bars and others horizontal glazing-bars. One cottage has a plain plank front door, located in the second bay from the left, and the other has a thatched, boarded porch with a plank door in the second bay from the right. Later brick extensions have been added to the rear of the cottages.
