Description

The Bennett Bishop monument, located in the churchyard 5 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Andrew in Fontmell Magna, is an early 19th-century table tomb made of stone with a flat top. It features corner and central pilaster strips adorned with scrolled enrichment. The monument includes early inscriptions in Roman capitals, as well as additional inscriptions commemorating members of the Penruddock and Jesse families.
