Description
This is a row of four 18th-century terraced buildings on West Street. The buildings are constructed of colour-washed brick, with slate roofs laid in diminishing courses towards the ridge. They are two storeys high with a hipped attic dormer on one. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, set in wide, flush frames. Number 74 features a small bowed window on the ground floor, and number 76 has a small, double-bowed shopfront of a contemporary design, also with glazing bars and a hood at first-floor level. Numbers 72 and 74 have brick modillion eaves cornices, while number 76 has a wood modillion eaves cornice. Numbers 68 to 76 form a group.
