Village Hall and attached barn. Mid-C19, but incorporates a former C17 entrance archway to Manor Farm House (qv). Formerly part of a "model" farm group. Walls of flint and brick banding. Slate roofs, with parapet and coped gables to main section. Circular stone end stacks to this section. Main section 2-storeyed, wing on left single storeyed. In main section, the reset C17 archway, of moulded stone with segmental head, and pair of timber doors. On each side of this, on ground floor, a 2-light stone mullioned window under hoodmould, with cast iron lattice glazing. 2 similar 3-light windows on first floor, under gables with moulded stone copings and circular finials with castellated caps. Iron weathervane in centre of roof. Single storey wing on left has a pair of oak doors in moulded stone surround with hoodmould. One 2-light stone mullioned window under hoodmould, with diamond lead lights. Attached barn on right, of similar construction. (RCHM Monument 3 Dorset Vol III)
