Description

The Manor Barn, now a house and village hall, is probably of the early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. The lower walls are of brick and flint, with timber framing and red brick infill. The cross-wing on the right has weatherboarding, and the roof is covered in plain tiles, with brick stacks. The building is single-storied with an attic, and has a five-window range set at a right angle to the street. A 20th-century door leads to a rear wing. A glazed midstrey is positioned centrally. The windows are a mix of 20th-century casements, and there are sloping roof lights. The roof slopes, with a cross-gable on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
