Description
Mill Cottage is a former pair of attached cottages and a mill, now functioning as a single cottage, dating from the early 19th century. The building features flint walls with brick banding and a slate roof with gable ends, topped by a brick stack on the ridge. It stands two storeys high and has five windows, along with two windows associated with the mill. The ground floor has eight two-light cast iron casements with glazing bars, set beneath segmental brick arches and concrete cills. To the right of the centre, there is a canted bay window with iron casements. The taller mill section at the south end also has two storeys and two windows. The position of the former mill wheel is located on the front wall. Access to the cottage is provided through a plank door at the rear.
