It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with a brick stack positioned at the left end. The cottage is two storeys high. The entrance includes a ledged door set beneath a four-centred stone arch, which has a square hoodmould above it. On the ground floor, there is one casement window with a horizontal centre bar, while the first floor has two casement windows that include glazing bars. The main room on the ground floor boasts a large open fireplace.
