Description
Minster Cottage is a terraced cottage that was originally built together with Oak House Stores, dated 1607. It features rubble stone walls and a slate roof with a coped gable on the left side of the original section, topped by a circular simulated stack at the apex. The cottage is two storeys high and has a continuous string course at the first floor level, which steps up over the door and windows. The ground floor includes a 4-light stone mullioned window with a larger central mullion, and part of another window shared with Oak House Stores. On the first floor, there is one 3-light and one 2-light stone mullioned window. To the left of the main building, encroaching on The Cottage, the ground floor has one altered 4-light stone mullioned window with an enlarged centre mullion, and on the first floor, there is a 3-light stone mullioned window with remains of lead lights. The interior is not accessible.
