Description
Hillside is a detached house dating from the 17th century, located in Winterborne Zelston. It features plastered cob walls and a half-hipped thatched roof, with a plastered stack positioned just off center. The house has one storey and an attic, with a later rear lean-to that now serves as the entrance.
On the front elevation, the ground floor includes two casement windows with lead lights; one has cast iron glazing, while the other features a central glazing bar. The attic contains four half-dormers with casement windows that have glazing bars. To the right, there is a 20th-century brick single-storey extension that houses garage doors and one metal window. An angle buttress is present at the junction with the main building, and some chamfered ceiling beams are exposed inside.
