Description
Crosshills is a detached house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations and extensions. It is constructed of roughcast cob on stone footings and features a hipped thatched roof. The house has a two-room, through-passage plan and is heated by end stacks with brick shafts. It stands two storeys tall and has a front elevation with a regular three-window arrangement. The first floor has two- and three-light casement windows, with the middle windows being early 19th century. There are three-light casement windows on either side of the central door. A 20th-century two-storey extension, which includes a garage, is located on the left-hand side. The interior has not been inspected.
