Description
Westford Farmhouse and attached stables is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Thorncombe. The building features rubble and cob walls with stone quoins and a thatched roof with a half-hipped gable. It has three stacks at the ridge, two made of brick and one rendered. The farmhouse is 1½ storeys high and has a four-window range with wooden casements and glazing bars. There is a 20th-century porch, and the half-hipped roof is extended over dormers. The attached stables, which include a loft above, create an L-shaped plan.
