Description
East Bexington Dairy Farm is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It features coursed rubble stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a thatched roof with half hips. There are brick stacks at the south and east ridges. The building has an L-plan layout, with a store and stables extending from the east range. It stands two storeys high and has two windows in the south range, which are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, wooden sills, and lintels that have been renewed. The east range also has two windows of the same type. A plank front door, located at the angle of the building, has three glass lights and dates from the 20th century. The attached store and stable, which are beyond a rough joint in the east range, include a plank door for the store and a stable door, both with wooden frames and lintels. There is also a loft door on the rear wall of the store. The front garden is enclosed by attached dry rubble-stone walls that extend 25 metres by 20 metres.
