Description

The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century terraced cottage, substantially restored around 1980. It is located on the west side of Queen Street in Yetminster. The building is constructed of rubble stone with a thatched roof and has brick end stacks. It is a single storey with attics. A 20th-century ledged door provides access. The ground floor features two 2-light stone mullioned windows with casements and a central horizontal bar. The attic has a double dormer with two 20th-century casements, also with a central horizontal bar. Internally, there are exposed ceiling beams.
