Description

Thatch Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of Colne High Street. It is a one-storey building with an attic, which may have been constructed in two different periods. The cottage features a rendered timber-frame and a thatched roof, complete with a central ridge stack and end stacks. There are three dormer windows with casements and three ground floor windows, one of which is a hung sash window with glazing bars. The central entrance has a four-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, framed by a moulded architrave that includes corner bosses and a cornice.
