Description

Nos 35 to 39 on East Street are a group of buildings that date back to before 1731, with Nos 35 and 37 being the earliest. They feature two-storey trick and stucco fronts, while No 39 is entirely stucco. Nos 37 and 39 have two gabled dormers. The first floor has six sash windows, and Nos 35 and 37 include a continuous hood at the first floor level, beneath which are two small bays—one splayed and the other bowed. The buildings also have house and shop doors. This group includes Nos 21 to 43 (odd), No 43A, and their outbuildings.
