Description

Nos 21 to 25 on East Street are a pair of buildings dating from before 1731. They are two-storey structures with painted brick and stucco fronts, featuring one dormer and five sash windows, although the glazing bars have been altered except in No 23. No 21 retains remnants of an early 19th-century shop front that includes two doorways and a formerly bowed window, all beneath a bowed fascia and cornice. These buildings, along with Nos 21 to 43 (odd), No 43A, and the outbuildings, form a cohesive group.
