Description

Holme Cottage is a detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century and enlarged in the 20th century. The original section features plastered walls, a thatched roof, and a plastered end stack. It has a two-room plan and is one storey with an attic. A modern plastered porch with a tiled roof and a "Tudor" style door has been added. The ground floor includes two casement windows, one of which has glazing bars. The attic features two half-dormers with casement windows that also have glazing bars. There are single-storey lean-to extensions at each end, both with tiled roofs and 20th-century windows. The main ground floor room contains a large open fireplace with a timber lintel, which has been partly remodelled.
