Description
Welavere and Flintham is a pair of cottages, which may have originally been one house. They likely date from the 18th century but could have earlier origins. The cottages feature plastered cob walls and a hipped thatch roof, with plastered stacks. They are one storey high with attics. Welavere has a later single-storey addition on the north side, which has a slate roof and includes a part-glazed entrance door. The ground floor of the main house has one casement window with glazing bars. Flintham includes an open porch with a part-glazed door, and its ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars and one metal casement. The attic features one dormer with casements that have glazing bars. The main ground floor room has a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
