Description

Hillside Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of flint and thatch, featuring a symmetrical front facing west with one storey and an attic, and three windows. The original central doorway of each unit has been replaced by a window, and one doorway is now set in a former window opening. The roof is half-hipped at the south end, with the exposed frame visible in the upper gable end, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The flint walls are accented with brick dressings, including quoins, cambered openings, and a plinth. The cottages have casement windows and one panelled door.
