Description

A pair of cottages, likely constructed in the 18th century, possibly with later additions. The cottages have rendered walls and a thatched roof, with rendered and brick stacks at each end and along the ridge of a rear wing. They form an L-shaped plan. Rafters is one and a half storeys high, while Hetherings is two storeys. The overall facade has approximately six window bays. Rafters has 20th-century two-light casement windows with glazing bars. Hetherings has 20th-century two-light casement windows, with no glazing bars; the ground-floor central window likely replaces a former doorway.
