The Old Forge (No.40) has a 20th-century half-glazed door in an open timber porch. Its ground floor has two casement windows, one with glazing bars and one with cast iron glazing. The first floor has three casement windows, one with glazing bars and two with cast iron glazing. The main room on the ground floor features a large open fireplace with a bread oven and one chamfered ceiling beam.
