Description

Lumley Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage constructed of rubble stone, featuring a thatched roof with a gable on the left side and a hip on the right. It has an end brick stack and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The façade includes four 2-light casements with glazing bars and a central 20th-century door. The openings are set under wooden lintels. Inside, there are straw and plaster divisions along with hair and plaster ceilings. The cottage also has 20th-century additions at the rear.
