Description

Hole House Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar, topped with a slate roof that is hipped to the east and gabled to the west. The south facade features a 19th-century ashlar reface and consists of two storeys with three bays. The window openings are segmentally arched and fitted with 3-light casements, although the centre window on the first floor has been blocked. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century French window on the left side. The left gable wing projects from the main structure. The north facade retains the remains of a 4-light timber mullioned window, which has ovolo moulded mullions.
