Description
This is a late 18th-century house in a row, located on the South East side of Nothe Parade in Weymouth. The exterior is cement rendered and scribed, with a slate roof. The house is three storeys high with a single window on the front elevation. Above the ground floor, a prominent, bowed oriel window features a triple 4-pane sash with mullion boxes and a small cornice decorated with modillions. The ground floor has a tripartite 4:12:4-pane sash window, and to the left, a 6-panel flush door with a small pane of glass, set within a moulded arch. The arch is accentuated by narrow pilasters and a deep frieze and simple cornice. A plinth runs along the base of the building, with plain bands defining the ground and second floor levels. The roof has a coped parapet. The interior of the building was not inspected at the time of listing.
