The west wing of Floracre, located on Yeovil Road, dates from the 19th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features two window bays. The roof is covered with modern plain tiles, and the front is finished in roughcast. Notable architectural details include chamfered quoins and a central half dormer. The small windows are two-light casements, and the doorway is topped with a segmental hood supported by iron brackets. This building is part of a group that includes Barton Farmhouse, Barton Farm Cottage, a garden wall to Barton Farmhouse, Cliff House, Smithy, Rosemary Cottage, Ryme Cottage, and the east and west wings of Floracre.
