Description
Shaul House is a mid-19th century double-fronted house located on Yeovil Road. It has two storeys and features two window bays, topped by a slate gabled roof. The front is rendered and includes ashlar pilasters and a stringcourse. The sash windows retain their glazing bars. A stone porch with unorthodox Doric columns leads to an unusual panelled door. There is an addition to the east, which is also two storeys and has one window bay with a door on the left side. Shaul House is part of a group that includes the dwarf wall and railings to Shaul House, Woodview, and the dwarf walls and railings to Gayton and Verna.
