Description
The Beeches is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 38 King Street in Newton Stewart. The exterior features rendered walling with painted margins and a projecting single-storey square-plan porch that includes a panelled door with a fanlight above. All the windows are sash with four-pane glazing.
The house has a moulded eaves cornice and a concrete tiled roof with coped end stacks, some of which have octagonal cans. At the rear, there is a two-storey projecting wing with lean-to bays. The property is also enclosed by metal railings and gates.
