Description
The west wing to Burderop Park is a 19th-century building that incorporates features from the late 17th and early 18th centuries. It originally served as the service wing to Burderop House. The south side has a blank wall, while the north elevation is made of limestone rubble and brick, rising two storeys. It features seven cross mullioned windows, with the first-floor windows retaining iron-framed casements, blind segmental heads, and gauged arches. There are two multi-panel (fielded) doors, similar to those found at the west end of this wing and at Overtown House in Wroughton Parish. The building has a parapet and coping, with a raised stone slate roof in the center and flanking chimneys that rise behind the parapet.
