Description

Nos 22 and 23 in Chiseldon are a pair of cottages with a core dating from the 17th or 18th century, which were altered and extended in the 1870s. The main part is a one-and-a-half storey thatched cottage constructed from sarsen stone with brick used in the eyebrow dormers. It features two chimneys, two eyebrow dormers, and four small modern casement windows. To the left, there is a lower single-storey extension with two windows, made of brick. To the right, there is a two-storey extension from the 1870s, which has one window and a slate roof. The garden front includes four eyebrow dormers and three porches.
