Description

Nos 18 and 20 Hodson are two-storey buildings, likely dating from the 18th century. The west part is constructed from rubble with some sarsen stones, while the right-hand section features coursed limestone rubble. They have a thatched roof, which has been slightly raised, as indicated by the brick visible below the current eaves. No 18 has been modernized.

The front of the building has six windows on the first floor and five windows along with two doors on the ground floor, featuring a mix of 19th-century two and three-light casements, alongside some modern windows. The north front is less altered, displaying five windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. The two central first-floor windows have wooden ovolo mullions and timber lintels. There are also late 19th-century timber porches with cusped bargeboards.
