Description
The gatepiers and gates to Encombe Park, located 200 meters south-southeast of Encombe House, are likely from the late 18th century. They consist of a pair of ashlar stone gatepiers with a cruciform plan and beaded angles. The gatepiers feature moulded caps topped with vase finials. The gates themselves are simple iron structures with shaped finials on the uprights.
