Description

19 South Street is a 17th-century building that was later refronted. It is constructed of stucco and has a pitched and sprocketed tile roof, with stone slates above the eaves. The building is two storeys high and features plain raised string courses. It has horizontally rusticated quoins. A 19th-century shopfront and doorway are present, both with sunk-panelled pilasters, elaborate moulded consoles and moulded cornices. There are two casement windows on the first floor. Nos. 9 to 19 (the odd numbers) form a group.
