Description

24 and 25 Broad Street is a 17th century stone house that has been refronted in stucco. The building has two storeys and features a modern dormer. It includes 16-pane sash windows with flush moulded frames and has moulded eaves. There is a modern shop at the front. At the rear, the upper storey has a heavy projection on the north side with exposed timber framing, and it is said that one original window remains. There is also a wing at the rear. The roof is hipped and covered with slates and modern pantiles. Nos 24 to 27 Broad Street form a group.
