Description

The building is an 18th-century council chamber constructed of red brick with stucco dressings. It is three storeys high and has five windows. The windows are unbarred sash windows with sills resting on corbels and keyblocks above. A string course runs along the first-floor level, and the building has dentilled moulded eaves. The ground floor was altered in the late 19th century, featuring pilastered doorways and an entablature, alongside rusticated stucco quoins. The roof is slate. The building forms a group with numbers 11, 15 to 18, 20 to 22 and The Eagle.
