Description

Belvedere House is an early 19th-century attached house located on the south side of Dorchester Road in Maiden Newton. The house has stone walls that have been rendered and painted, covered by a slate roof with gable ends. Brick stacks are visible behind the left-hand gable and at the right-hand gable. It is two storeys high and has three windows. These are sash windows with thin glazing bars, arranged as 12 panes on the ground floor and 9 panes above. The central front door is six-panelled, with raised panels, and is topped by a fanlight featuring a lozenge-in-rectangle pattern of glazing-bars.
