Description

The bridge over the mill stream, located on Dorchester Road in Maiden Newton, dates from the late 18th century. It features stone piers with brickwork above and has a chamfered stone parapet coping. The structure includes four arches and is designed for double-track use. On the upstream side, there are three stone cutwaters and original brickwork, while the downstream side is characterized by projecting keystones and lacks cutwaters.
