Description
St Marys Primary School is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer dressed stone with a pitched tile roof. It features coped gables on moulded kneelers and is designed as a one-storey U-shaped block with extruded angles and a central porch. The school has grouped lancet windows with ashlar dressings, trefoil heads, and some circular designs in the spandrels. Additionally, there are some trilobe or miniature lancet windows in the gable ends. The windows that do not have gables above them are mullioned and have caernarvon arched heads. There are modern extensions on the south side.
