Description

Nos 42 and 44 on St Michael's Lane are early 19th-century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a pitched slate roof. They are two storeys high and feature three ranges of casement windows with glazing bars. No 42 has a modern door with a blocked semi-circular fanlight above it, while No 44 is accessed through a covered passageway that also has a blocked semi-circular fanlight. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 36 to 48 (even).
