Description

Nos 36 and 38 on St Michael's Lane are early 19th-century buildings constructed of colourwashed brick with pitched slate roofs. They feature a tall red brick chimney stack and rise two storeys with attics. The front has three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. There are two four-panelled doors, each with fanlights—one is oblong and the other is semi-circular but blocked. Additionally, there is a planked door with a fanlight that leads to a passageway. The buildings also have two attic dormers with casement windows and slate-hung sides. Nos 36 to 48 (even) form a group.
